Baseball and Softball Registration will open January 1st, 2027

 Graceland Recreation provides Baseball, T-Ball, and Softball leagues for children ages 4-12. On average we have over 300 kids.


Registration

Registration will open January 1st.

Cost ranges from $85-$100 per child.

  • T-Ball is co-ed for children 4-5 yrs old

  • Baseball is for boys 6-12 yrs old

  • Softball is for girls 6-12 yrs old

Age deadline: Age as of April 30th, 2027

Evaluations

Evaluations will be conducted March 13th. You will receive specific information via email after registration has closed. Only children 6 and older need to attend evaluations.

Practices

Practice will begin mid-March. Your child’s coach will reach out to you with days and times. Anticipate one practice during the week and one on Saturdays.

Games

Games will run end of April - beginning of June pending weather.

FAQs

Do I have to be a member of Graceland Church?

No, you do not need to be a member of Graceland Church to play in the Graceland Rec league.

Are teams coed?

Our Tee Ball League, which is 4–5 year-olds is coed and children do not need to be evaluated.

What ages need to be evaluated?

All kids ages 6 and up will need to be evaluated to be placed on teams according to their skill level.

What are the different leagues?

4-5 Tee Ball (co-ed)

6-8 Girls Softball (Coach pitched)

6 Boys Baseball (Coach pitched)

7-8 Boys Baseball (Coach pitched)

9-10 Girls Softball (machine and kid pitched)

11-12 Girls Softball (kid pitched)

9-10 Boys Baseball (kid pitched)

11-12 Boys Baseball (kid Pitched)

Some teams will travel locally depending on number of teams in the league.

What gear does my child need?

  • Your child will need a glove and cleats.

  • You are welcome to bring your own bat and helmet, but it is not necessary.

  • Graceland Rec will provide the team shirt and hat.

When will practices be?

Practices are one hour long, twice a week and take place on weekdays (excluding Wednesdays) 5:30pm-8:30pm and Saturday afternoons.

When will games be?

Games will take the place of one practice each week. It is dependent on your coach and schedule.
